Quality Infrastructure

We work with standards organizations and governments to help them develop and implement modern quality infrastructure that support their industrial strategies and consumer protection. Elements of such quality infrastructure includes technical regulations (such as building codes), standards, conformity assessment practices (such as risk-based inspection systems, testing, and certification of products, personnel, and quality management), accreditation (of laboratories and certification/notified bodies), as well as metrology (which  includes calibration of  measurement systems and testing equipment).

An example of our work in this area is described in Standards Associates’ white paper which presents a business model for a laboratory network for testing the long-term performance and reliability of solar energy modules and components utilizing the principle of public-private partnership.
